I may have missed it somewhere or just have over looked it but I have owned the game for quite some time before it was added to steam. I am just curious if we are not getting some kind of benefit for that or if are going to have to buy the addition pre-order items on steam just to have them. Clearly there is probably going to be things I missed but I would rather ask and see if we get a firm answer.

You get a pet from pre-order. A golden guppy or whatever it’s called.

I understand the pre-order will get the golden guppy but after having the game for 4 years before this has come out I thought maybe we would have some of these items for following the game for so long, no?

As far as I’m aware, the only thing you get from pre-order is the pet, whether you bought it 4 years ago or today.
That, and the time you’ve already spent playing the game, plus potentially the supporter packs that are no longer available.
So the additional packs and various pre-order benefits, are specific to those packs and if you want them they are able to be purchased. I was just making sure I didn’t miss somewhere that I needed to put in a code to get something or jump through a hoop of some kind.
There will be Twitch drops starting tomorrow. My guess is that there will be a pet involved.

Yeah, and to add to that, the kickstarter people don’t get all of the benefits from every single pack that came after it until the End of Time! It’s almost like it’s not a pyramid scheme.

As stated I just wanted to make sure I wasn’t missing a hoop that I needed to jump through to get limited time items or what exactly the additional packs were.
I wish players that have had the game for a long time. Would get something unique to show off. I have had the game for 3-4 years. And the golden guppy thing is cool. But since someone who pre order today gets the same thing is kinda weird. Like we have play tested the game for it to get to this point. Reporting bugs, crashes, etc.
Nope I think you’re good. I’d make sure your Twitch and Steam are paired if you want to start getting those rewards Thursday.
