So the passive descrition says nothing about “on hit” like other passives do. So I thought if you combine it with Maelstrom it should now give the spell a chance to apply bleed (without a hit). But this doesn’t seem to work.
Is this intended or a bug? Since other passives do have the “on hit” requirement in their text.
I see where you’re coming from, however since Maelstrom doesn’t hit, how frequently would the effect proc? Ailment application rates on DoT skills are always expressed as X% per second which the passive doesn’t say or mention so I’d probably put this down as an older tooltip which would need to be updated to include “on hit”.
Well whenever the damage ticks? With the standard %bleed chance? I know it’s a grey arrea but then the wording is missleading. But I guess ailments just work with hits and hits only if not stated in the skill itself. Fair.
Which is much higher than the damage ticks you see on screen.
Sadly yes.
