Beacon Of torment node

Beacon of torment node seem pretty bug to me.
First when you have damned waters node the spirit hit you but you don’t have damned stack on you.
On the other hand when you take chaotic rupture nodes, bolt which are not spirit focus you and again don’t do any damage to you…
I don’t know if it was intend.

Tooltip says spirit now target you instead of ennemies. But in fact you only have the torment… the rest of the damage (spirit and chaos bolt) is done around you.

My question is why chaotic Rupture node is affected by beacon of torment node and damned waters node don’t?

The node specifies that it applies Damned to enemies (you aren’t an enemy).

That sounds like a bug IMO.

there is also the warlock passive talent node Aspect of death.
It’s says “damn yourself when Hit”
But When Spirit hit me with beacon of torment node i don’t have any Damned on me…
Did i miss something?

I’m not sure the Spirits actually hit you as such, since you don’t take damage from them & they can’t apply any on-hit effects. But I agree the wording on Aspect of Death does imply that you should get a stack of Damned.
