Bazou feedback

hi, little feedback after 23hours on this game

First great job

I have a very good feeling when i play at this game, it’s very fresh, not big race to power creep or very fast speed. I wait a lot the multi, personaly multi on other game like PoE is very boring too much effect, if the speed between build is different we just run behind the friend… when i start this game after PoE my wife said directly ho it’s clean, we can understand what’s happen i would like to play with you. I hope you will keep this way balance skill will be better, in PoE (a lot of thousands hours and league) every time the range of 500k dps to 20/30m dps make only few skill playable every league. I like that we don’t have to spam buff like a lot of other game potion on poe, buff on grim dawn, it’s very relax to play after the work. play a buff because a smart reason is ok, but every time on other game it’s spam for to have it permanently. I don’t have the bot spam feeling in last epoch.

A lot of smarts things, QoL, craft is very good we can craft from the start to the end, again great job. And without play 10hours/days , with job and family life. And a very good feeling in all tree a lot of good possibility.

Some probleme of light but for a beta it’s very good, waiting to see how you continue to improve the game. Good Luck. Now it’s time to play more on your game for me.

I agree a lot with your post, the game needs to prevent too much craziness that POE has. Its a tough one to balance out though.

Also as a family man myself agree its nice and relaxed at the moment… I would actually like a league where you are only allowed to play for a set amount of time a day… I know that wouldn’t work for everyone but for people who want a full life being able to enjoy the game with equal amount of game time as other people would be great and a really healthy option too.

Hi Sinderland,
Please don’t get me wrong on this. I am a family man, too. But I don’t understand your attitude.

What’s the problem with playing in the same league with hardcore gamers? Why do you want to be separated?

To generate a healthy player base for a game it is important to not split the community to much. There already are several fractions:

  • Online / Offline
  • Hardcore / Softcore
  • Solo Self Found / Shared Stash
  • PvP / PvE

Every faction has other recommendations for the game. To split this even more is not a good idea I think.

And also I don’t understand why the separation you suggest should be a good idea. What would it change for you?

The amount of time you can spend playing the game does not change. You cannot compete in ladder races, but this also won’t change with separating. How does playing in the same league with hardcore players affect you and your play style and gaming experience?

The game lobbies will be separated. May be there are public quest hubs. But perhaps it will also be an option to stay solo, I don’t know. There is no open world where overleveled players could steal your mobs or loot or kill you. You will be able to play online with friends, solo or public. This will be your choice.

So other players will get better items and higher levels faster than you. But these players will stay all around you anyways. No matter if you play in a casual league. They are on discord, steam, forums, twitch, youtube,… Why does it bother you?

Please don’t take this as an offense. I just don’t understand you point of view and would be glad if you could explain it to me

Although I dont think the mode of limited play time would be a good thing, It would be nice to actually be able to compare yourself and your ability to people with similar play time. With current aRPG ladders, Last Epoch included, I could have no idea if the top spot took 15 hours to achieve or if it took 1000 hours to achieve. Is that person on the top of the ladder really good or just plays all day so they have all of the best items ever? It would be a refreshing change to give casual players some form of a competitive environment. How efficient can you be with 10 hours of play a week over the course of a season. I see the merit of the idea and would almost certainly partake in such a mode, but can already see the huge backlash from twtich/hardcore community
