The Node Sweet Release states in the extra info when you hit ALT. That it cannot summon more than the maximum number of Baby Scorpions, but nowhere else i can find mentions what that maximum is.
I would expect it to be in the Maternal Instinct node, but that just mentions how many are summoned every few seconds.
