I’ve been farming monoliths at nearly 200 corruption and have been having no problem (since my build is tanky).
But I noticed nearly every time I go into a area with those axe throwing Wengari I die, I have no trouble tanking attacks from other enemies in areas with more punishing mods.
the Axe Throwing wengari needs either their attack speed turned down or their base damage, cause it feels out of place how much damage they do compared to the other mobs
They already have less attack speed but increased damage so it could be that combined with whatever Monolith modifiers you have enabled, its finding a weakspot in your defences more than others.
But to be honest, never really noticed them… Sure if there are a lot of them spawned then its harder but nothing more than anything else.
After experiencing Crystal Elementals pre nerf, nothing can scare me. Yeah the goatmen throw axes hard, but it’s nothing unmanagable. I actually welcome those mobs, as sometimes, you need the extra umpf to keep you focused. That used to be the Crystal Elementals and the fire comet bird casters.
These dudes don’t hit that hard individually, but often come in huge packs and all of them throw the axe at the same time. The end result is quite deadly if you lack armor & phys res
The fire spear throwing guys riding on the Ebers still get me. Mainly because their cast animation->damage time is so low. That, and they are part of that group that can hit you from off-screen as well.
