Let me start out by saying I love this feature. It’s great. However, a lot of items in the game are 2 boxes wide. So can we please sort based on that? Too many times I click sort, and I have the entire last column available, but no room to place my 2 wide weapon or armor. There’s enough room, but I have to reorganize myself.
Please sort items in a 2 box width setting. So instead of sorting 1 box wide items top down in a single column, go side by side for 2 columns. In other words, the first and second column are considered the same column when it comes to sorting. If it’s a 2 wide item, it’ll fit perfectly. If you have 5 items 1 wide, it’ll go 2x2 and then 1 extra on the 3rd row.
Have to agree… the Autosort sucks in its current form… Its probably a pretty complicated bit of code to get right but there are plenty of instances where a human brain can see the space and move things around to squeeze in another drop or two but the existing algorithm borks itself…
Granted, I’d also rather the devs work on the game rather than this QoL feature but it would be nice if it worked better…
Manual sorting is stil the best… but heaven help me, I have over 50 stash tabs and I just dont have the patience anymore…
Ps… come to think of it, a sort/move function using filters would be really great too… but hey…
Gonna have to disagree, as it is right now is a huge time saver! Considering its not even in other games, I think you’re asking for too much. It’s a quick sort function, and it does that great.
Sorting Idols can be like a “block out” session. I’m always proud when I have a stash tab with e.g. Acolyte idols where every tile is filled. Takes some puzzling sometimes
It would be cool to have a function like
click once: Sort like it is now, leaving tiles vertically
click again: Sort stuff by leaving space horizontally
