At this point you should allow migrating characters between online and offline

Maybe what I wrote didn’t get the point across. I didn’t mean to imply people asking for this wanted to cheat. I don’t think they do. However, implementing something like this would have that end result. So, ultimately, that is what players are asking for.

There is a thing called save editor from the beginning EA of this game, why bother to merge?

Online playing is for authentic progression.

Not even close my friend, maybe 2 to 3 hours at the very best. one baby, one toddler and a full time job → not a lot of free time and 5 am = please let me sleep

Sorry to hear ppl still having issues. On US West it’s been working well yesterday and today. Just tested it ~2pm PST and got right in, no queues, and loaded into Mono fast.

Not sure what’s going on in other regions, but the worst we’ve had in AU was first couple days. We copped a 45min queue just the once, none since. The game was offline for maintenance once. Load times when zoning were very long first 3 or 4 days, almost completely acceptable now. Sure, I’d also love to be able to co-op LAN duo with the Mrs offline and then just jump online when that’s available. But I understand the technical challenges and risks involved. It’s like the whiners are playing a different game, or have really crap internet…or just want cheating enabled and the flow-on issues be damned

When a cycle ends and a new one starts most people are fine with starting a fresh new character, why treat it differently with transitioning from offline to online?

At least that’s how I see it, I’ll play offline for as long as online is still laggy and once this is fixed, I’ll start my own new “cycle” in online mode.
