Hello everyone, uniq Artifice of Devastation with LP sockets requires an Exalt Artificer’s Device. Where can I get it? I looked at the databases of sites, it says “Can’t drop”
Are you talking about base drop so you can use runes of ascendance? If so, there isn’t one. It’s a base that’s exclusive to that unique. But you don’t need the exact base type. It’s a relic, so any relic will have a chance to spawn it with RoA (3% chance).
Otherwise it’s a unique like any other and it can drop with LP. In fact, it has a pretty low roll so a 2LP one should be reasonably easy to find.

You also don’t need the same exact base to slam it. Any rogue relic will work.

No worries. LE mostly cares about the item type only. So RoA will roll one of the possible unique helmets no matter which sub-type of helmet you place in it. You can place a rogue helmet and it will still roll between all, including a unique mage helmet.
Likewise, for legendary slams, it also only cares about the item type, but for helmets, chest and relics, if you use a different class item, it can restrict the result to that class.
What this means is that if you have a rogue relic, like in this case, and you use a mage relic (I think it needs to have an affix that is exclusive to mage relics, but it’s safer to assume it wil always do this) to slam it, then it will become a mage AND rogue relic, so no one can use it.
So for these 3 item types, it’s always better to slam with the class you’re using. But it can be any item sub-type for that class. So you can slam a Shroud of Obscurity with ANY acolyte chest pieces and it will work.
