Arrow/Projectile Hitbox issue in The Barren Aqueduct++

In The Barren Aqueducts and Nests of the Fallen maps there are small puddles of liquid (usually near tents and similar structures) with a weird invisible hitbox.
These puddles visually appear to be flat on the ground, and I expect arrows to pass above them as if they weren’t there, but when aiming anywhere near them the character aim gets weird, apparently as if the puddles have a cube hitbox taller than the character.
Non-piercing arrows visually get stuck in mid-air when colliding with the invisible hitbox surrounding it, and enemies on the opposite side take no damage.

I’ve also tested using smoke bomb while standing on top of a puddle, the smoke cloud ends up suspended mid-air above the character.
