Firstly thank you EHG for adding the pause before spawning enemies in Arena. However there seem to be some issues with it.
- Having any minion active instantly starts the waves, I assume it counts minion movement to trigger start which should not be the case.
- Feels like the last set of waves 30-40 starts instantly with no grace period on entry unlike the other waves. This is especially bad since it has the most modifiers and the smallest arena. meaning you get mobbed by all 4 spawns instantly.
- Companions despawn and need to be resummoned for every zone change. This is pretty awkward when they have a huge mana cost and especially for druid transform skills that need to go human to summon and then wait for the transform skill’s cooldown.
These 3 together make Arena pretty awkward for a companion build with a minion(In my case Sabertooth and Primal Serpent) where you need to summon your companion while getting insta mobbed by the enemies.
On point 1, I feel minions should not trigger the start of waves as minion builds need setup too. Point 2 feels like a bug as its not happening in say wave 10-20 and 20-30 zones. Point 3 seems weird and may also be a bug or a limitation? but should be atleast bearable(pun intended) if the other two get fixed.
