I’ve almost fallen asleep several times now. Mind you, I’m playing a necro build which is a bit more passive than most; but still.
I hope the devs add some activities on each map instead of just standing in the middle and fighting from 4 sides. It gets so monotonous.
Maybe try adding in a capture the flag mechanic where enemies spawn very close to you in that zone, and you need to capture 3 or 4 different areas. Maybe that can be the last wave of each map. And wave 5 is some other activity.
Well thats arena, a monolith of fate is more involved than standing in one spot. What I’d like to see is some sort of score/combo/timer mechanic for an arena like in Grim Dawn, I get people wanting to push as far as they can but that pretty boring (for me) but having a leaderboard for other arena stats would be fun).
Yeah I like that. Maybe showing your rank on the leader board move up after each map could be cool. It would help keep players motivated about pushing forward.
If wave 10 is the capture the flag mechanic, wave 5 can be some sort of destroy the boss that spawns more enemies. And have a couple bosses spread over the map. This way movement speed can be taken into consideration when pushing for higher levels as well.
Agreed, have different random objectives (protect, time limit, be forced to change position…) can make arena more attractive.
edit : I would like to remind for the newcomers that other end-game modes will be available for the official release.
