I would love to see a cycle mechanic introduced with a focus on a modified arena gameplay option aside from typical arena. My main idea would be that of a roguelike-type gameplay mechanic, where every X amount of waves, you’re given random choices from a pool of Buffs/Modifiers that coincide with enemy Buffs/Modifiers such as “You now have 100% critical strike chance, but you can no longer avoid being critically struck by enemies”. I think this would give near infinite gameplay potential for an entire cycle, possibly being made an evergreen mechanic for future cycles as well.
