Firstly this is not a “I hate this game” rant, Its actually very good. I give your team an enthusiastic thumbs up for creating something that I think is better than (The other guy’s AAA game studio ARPG) and I sunk 600 hours into that, so I would call Last Epoch a work of art and proof that the big game studio’s these days are not worth what we are paying for them. since launch, every day is the same thing. log on, click play online, at this point you will likely get to a character select screen, select your HC character, press enter…
now from there one of two things will happen. Usually, you get told that online is unavailable, and to check these boards for updates… rarely however it attempts to load. in the event that it actually does try to load you in, it is probably you get stuck in a 25 minute loading assuming you don’t just disconnect and start from the beginning all over again.
Any plans to fix this? Yes, I know I could play offline, but I don’t particularly want to. I want to play with those I live with, and as this is now, is non-functional.
yes it’s big deal because together with my friend we bought 4 copies of this to play together. Now, because we played somehow more than 2 hours early in friday we are unable to refund this. This is clearly steal from us. And im not even said about army of fanboys telling me “go play offline”. Like i care about offline…
It really wouldn’t be “AS BIG” of a deal I could just switch my online character to offline in order to play while the servers are troubled, however currently, I would have to start from scratch and would never be able to play the offline character online shrug,
I would think that there is a percentage of us trying to play the game that would really like to play it in its online default mode as intended, and that’s what this post was created to do, clarify if or if not we can expect any sort of resolution. No I’m not concerned about rabid fanfare getting all up on me about trivialities or even posing these questions, they can do with their loading time as they please… I simply chose to use mine asking a legitimate question.
