The game unfortunately does not support HDR. There is a way around this by using NvTrueHDR mod:
The mod itself only enables hidden flags in RTX cards to use NVIDIA yet to be released or announced RTX HDR which is similar to Auto HDR in windows 11 but heaps better.
Now the mod also has a tool that allows tweaking NVIDIA TrueHDR peak brightness/saturation/contrast/quality. BUT they do it through a DLL wrapper/asi loader.
My question to you ladies and gents at Eleventh Hour Games, are you going to be gits and freak out if we used the DLL wrapper to adjust NvTrueHDR to suit our TVs?
From that mod’s main page:

I can’t make any guarantees, but the main NvTrueHDR tool is just changing some driver settings, no custom code or file modifications, so I’d think most anticheats would be fine with it.
It does cause some extra NVIDIA driver code to load into the game however, which some ultra-paranoid games might not be expecting.
The TrueHDRTweaks package on the other hand does inject custom code into the game & would be very likely to trip most anticheats in use, only recommend that for single-player / LAN games!"
If that is an accurate description of how the basic mod works it implies the mod itself doesn’t change the .EXE on disk or in memory, all it’s doing it setting the NVidia card on a per-process basis then launching the game … I see no basis for EHG to take issue with this …
… but …
… the TrueHDRTweaks tool does inject code into the game and that most certainly is something all devs can object to and seek to ban.
That said, Mike’s comments in the interview video posted by DM and Ghazzy today when answering a question about mods can i think be taken to infer EHG wouldn’t consider a code change such as this to be of concern since it doesn’t change gameplay in any way, it simply allows for adjustment of the video output.
I think EHG would show themselves as being very ‘anal’ if they went after this, something I see no reason to think they are.

That is my hope until we get an official HDR support. However, I still hope to see an official word on this wonderful mod from the Dev team before I find myself with a Steam tattoo (vac ban).
You can go on discord and use the channel to ask the devs channel. Mike is pretty active there, he will give you an answer.
