I can’t believe we are almost to season 5, this new season looks awesome and the faction changes is sweet… but this game is still a horrible running game. My computer can run any game at 4k 144fps but this game… The FPS goes from 144 to 70 to 100 to 90 and all over when the screen starts to fill up. Especially with this seasons shattered events where you get a ton of enemies on your screen. Now before the comments say it’s the computer or user error or update graphics blah blah lol… it isn’t. Every other game runs perfect and is locked at 138fps (Gsync.) This forum every season when more people are playing fills up with the lag and stutter posts and then people seem to give up and play another game and this has been going on since season 1 which is understandable for a new game but it is not something we should be dealing with years later… it sucks cause the game is fun but a 13900k, 4090 and 64 gigs of ram should not be struggling with this game which has worse graphics then Poe 2 or Diablo 4 and both of those games and all others run perfect. Well end of rant, I just hope with this long ass season they have had time to atleast fix their game..
*PLZ DEVS FIX THE MAIN BACKBONE OF THE GAME AND GET BETTER OPTIMIZATION LIKE A 3+ YEAR OLD GAME SHOULD HAVE…

I remember there was very serious effort on optimizations around 0.9-1.0 where the game was running great for me but then went downhill after 1.1 and it’s getting worse.
I aM really hoping that with this season being soo delayed that they had extra time to really work on these issues. If I lower to 80ish fps and lock it then it’s pretty good so a lot of people who okay at 60fps always say "the game is fine. " it isn’t fine, if you lower your standards and settings then yeah it runs lol but it should be able to run way better. I have hope this season is about better. It looks like a huge season. Hopefully the season start doesn’t have as many issues also.
As they stated a few times before, the biggest optimisation pass is expected for the console release which should be next season. If i recall well features like DLSS and FSR will be implemented too. I expect some optimisations this season but nothing major. The largest issue is memory leaks still being present. Basically you need to relog every hour or so. FPS slowly degrades. 9800X3D 4090 here
Yeah o figured that also but I hope we get some help this season. When your used to playing 144fps, going to 70ish or whatever to have a stable good gaming experience In this game sucks.. still gonna play it of course but would play a lot more if it was buttery smooth like other similar games are right now.
guessing you didn’t read huh? I can play any game and it’s perfect. It’s just This game. I am Playing ultra on 4k 144fps buddy. Not 1080 60fps like you are lol.. this game is horrible for optimization.
Yes, they are adding some optimization in this season. They doen it the each season. The expansion will be huge in this regard, too. Memory leaks are the scourge of all modern games. And no one doth as much to correct them as LE.
