Architects of Astras Blood on Spellblade low life

Hey, any testing this new unique for Spellblade? I would play that with Last Steps of the Living and Experimental afffix on Gloves. How compared Architects vs Exsanguinous? It’s double ward or give more?

I play with Architecs on my Bladedancer. My ward went down from 4k to 2.1 when i switched Architecs to Exsanguinous because i also wanted to see how much more ward the new body armour brings.

Ward calculator says at 3000 HP it is doubled Ward when comparing the chests alone. (200% Ward Retention and no other Ward source).

However, the new chest has this line:

(200% to 240%) of Maximum Health applied as a Ward Limit

So at 3000 HP you cannot go over 7200 Ward. So when comparing with chest + boots + gloves, it’s only about +1400 Ward difference, still an okay boost.

However  Spellblade as well as many other Ward builds will generate Ward from other sources - on hit, from mana spent, etc., so this means that using the new primal chestpiece can potentially be a negative, because any Ward generated above your (HP * 2.4) is wasted.

I think this item is most useful for builds that don’t generate Ward from other sources and/or have low %Ward Retention and Ward Decay Threshold. If you can generate a lot of Ward, this item can be detrimental.
