Bit of an odd bug to explain, but activating Arcane Ascendance with the Superconductor/Closed Circuit nodes while channeling Lightning Blast actually produces less lightning blasts/hits than if you were to just channel Lightning Blast without activating Arcane Ascendance.
To measure, I am using the Fire Aura on crit idols with 100% spell crit, so the stack counter is showing me how many hits=crits I have done in the past 4 seconds.
Channeling LB by itself = 170-220 stacks
Channeling LB with AA active = 100-150 stacks
That doesn’t surprise me, superconductor has a 2s cooldown so that node by itself should give you 30 cast per minute with a maxxed closed circuit taking that up to ~48 in a minute. I’m not sure how many effective casts per minute you get when Lightning Blast is channelled (but cast speed bonuses doesn’t affect channelled skills by design).
How many chains do you have and have you taken the convergence node?
