Arcane absorbtion passive on rip blood doesn't work

Arcane Absorption does give Flat Spell damage, which is not even shown in the character sheet.
The spell damage shown in the character sheet is %inc. spell damage.

Also you only get stacks, when you cast Rip Blood directly. (So not through tirggers like Transplant or Chaos Bolt)

The only thing I see is the increment in damage on tool tip…on my screen I do not see it incrementing any kind of spell damage or any kind of buff.

That’s the problem

I can confirm that this ability is not working. No matter how you cast it, the ability does not grant a buff as far as I can tell.

You’re not quite right. The passive works. If you look at the tooltip before using the ability and after you will see that the DPS has increased and is smoothly decreasing. But the lack of indication is definitely misleading.
