Apogee of Frozen Light question

  1. Does Frozen Vengeance’s effect stack? (I know I can have multiple stacks but if I expended 2 stacks in the past 2 seconds, can I get effect of 2 stacks or only effect of 1, which means its effect cannot stack?)
  2. If I equip 2 * Apogee of Frozen Light, and if max stack of Frozen Vengeance’s effect is 1, does Frozen Vengeance grant 24% or 48% more damage to chilled enemies?

I tested roughly and I think the effect cannot stack and it’s only 24% not 48% when dual wielded. But I am not so sure.

I don’t know if pressing alt ingame shows it, but in LETools, the explanation is this:

  • “When a Minion dies you gain a stack of Frozen Vengeance”
    (Up to 8 stacks. Stacks last 8 seconds and gaining a new one refreshes their duration.)

  • "When you Hit an enemy with a melee attack you expend a stack of Frozen Vengeance to grant all your minions Frenzy and 24% more Damage to Chilled Enemies for 8 seconds and Freeze up to 8 nearby normal and magic enemies for 3 seconds
    (This effect cannot trigger more than once per second and the buff does not stack. The freeze has a range limit of 8 metres.)

So, answering to your questions:

1- No, the effect does not stack, if you spend 2 stacks, the effect will only be refreshed.

2- Also no. It will not give your minions 48% damage if you equip two weapons, since it’s not the weapon itself giving the buff effect. The item only gives the stacks, and the stacks gives the buffs.
