Anyone know when the new patch will be available to download?

Having a slow broadband it can take hours to download a big patch. Anyone know when the new patch will be available to download so I might be able to play it on release date not the next day as often happens with the bigger updates and they are only released 1-2 hours before official release

New patch should only be available at the time of season launch. There is no pre-patch, otherwise true offline would be able to start playing immediately and/or datamine the info. So until they find a way to do this without spoiling it because of true offline, only at season launch do you get the patch.

So check the timer on the main page and that should also be a timer for the patch.

I thought they moved the content patch up to todays patch to resolve server issues and content patch. 2 birds 1 stone >_<

If they did, you would be able to immediately start playing as true offline. Kinda would defeat the purpose of having a season launch time.

If they only release the patch at the season launch time/date then no one would be able to play it at the official season launch time/date as everyone would have to download it before they could start to play it. Everyone trying to download it at the same time = a lot slower download times.

This is a non issue with Steam’s insane infrastructure. Even the very biggest of launches (much bigger than LE) have no issues at all with that. Like AT ALL.
