Aside from the ones I want for my builds, can anyone give me a list of the rare affixes? I know I can just go to LETools and look, I’m not asking for anyone to make me a list, but rather to post a list if you already have one.
When I make one, I just select all class affixes. Though that’s because I have a healthy enough hybrid health affix pool, so I don’t to shatter those.
In the end, though, I usually have it disabled and only turn it on when I need specific ones.
Pick up all affix shards that drop, since they ignore the Loot Filter (unless I’m crazy and they don’t ignore it?) since there’s not really a reason to not to pick them up.
Aside from that, I personally keep a “T5+ Class Specific” (for other classes) rule and a “T5+ Rare Affixes” rule near the top of my loot filter so I can find items for shattering with the less common affixes.
I don’t pick up most shards that drop, unless they’re in my path. And even then, I sometimes don’t bother anyway. I don’t think there’s any common shard I don’t have hundreds of by now, so I don’t usually bother picking them up unless I see a red affix.
If you are just starting out, you probably want hybrid health and movement speed.
I was briefly shattering for spark charge on hit because I needed it at the moment.
With shattering there is no affix that is rare enough to warrant being on your filter at all times.
I’m always worried about running out of a shard I may need later, so I don’t want to get into the habit of leaving shards on the floor. I can understand leaving them if you know you’re already in the hundreds/thousands of shards and comfortable leaving them. I see it as two clicks (one to pick up, one to store) so it doesn’t bother me
