i can play for about 5 -10 min at a time before massive lag and snapshotting begins, anyone else experiencing this?
Yes, I have the same problem, the picture jerks and the character seems to lean back a short distance as if he is running into an invisible obstacle with a push back, I don’t even know if it’s server lags or just bugs. In new zones this happens especially often.
If this isn’t actual “lag”, as in “problems with the internet connection or server”, then it might be caused by Vsync. Try to disable that one and instead limit your frame rate. Worked for me.
If vsync were the cause of that problem your gpu would be on fire.
Nope, it was underutilised and quite cool, still I got rubberbanding and choppy gameplay. This bug is known for years at this point. You can find many reports all over the place, including these forums.
Thanks everyone turned out my vysnc was auto enabled after first install.
In my process of troubleshooting I noticed it didnt do it when I played at 2k resolution only when I played 4k which after reading this thread again led me to check the vsync.
