Anybody using a Primordial Unique in a build?

I 've collected lots of fangs/horns/feathers but not spent any of them yet as the new items seem to be getting average feedback. I was hoping to use the Wildfire Embers amulet but Trickster’s testing showed it not to be spreading ailments so I’m just waiting. Anyone find an exciting primordial?

There are plenty of builds using one, plenty even unique builds that didn’t exist before.
For example, the reflect chest makes Pally reflect a possibility. They can easily clear 800c+ and even have a shot at Uby. Spriggan Form also does great with it.

There’s also the frog helmet which created a new build that didn’t exist before and it’s doing pretty well.

Just look at LETools builds and see which are using primordial uniques and see if you find the builds fun to play.

I have a warlock running with that wand. I was a necromancer and that wand was op. Still is op. I can’t see any other weapons that provide as much utility in the game for necromancer, besides maybe the Trex one, but that requires a very specific build path that just isn’t for me.

I am about to get that fire necklace to go with my warlock’s cthonic fissure.
I also got the Set Bonus Ring, where you get bonuses from all the complete sets you get. I think at max you can have like 4, maybe 5 complete sets so +5 to all your skills at minimum.

I got those bleed gloves, but not sure what to do with them yet.
Also, on a side note, jfc I have literally every unique bow in the game, excluding boss exclusives, and I haven’t even made a Birbmaster yet lol. They really want me to be a birb, so maybe I will roll Bee Spriggan next.

None of them are bad really. Even wild fire being lackluster does not mean its so bad you would never use it, its ignite chance per fire res is pretty good and it has huge fire res/health on it.

All the “Stat” items, that give 3-4 to a specific attribute skill levels and some of that attribute are all useful and seeing use.

the extra crit ammy very strong.

Trex is fantastic.

The relic enhancing idols is quite good with tons of generic stats.

Primal cadence ive seen some rumblings about being okay.

Tldr; im not really sure why there is this undertone of feedback that they are mid/underused, whats really true is they are not as much power creep imo as people figured. Slapping on a primordial does not instantly win you the game(Cept in reflects case lol)

All of the primordials heavily incentivize you utilize them correctly and have a moderate pay out for doing so, they are not free win buttons

edit: the only one id argue is bad is the wings of discord i think its called, its main drawing point is that it causes idols to get 100% effect if they are a different shape then all other idols. so if you get a 1x1 a 1x2 etc and set up your idol slots perfectly you can double all your effects, but this really restricts you, so double effect isnt worth it vs say just using reliquary nest for 60%. They should buff that one.

I’m having fun with the set ring, making a build that couldn’t exist without it.

Set ring is crazy good, not only is it huge for existing builds like Timerot and Spark Charge Lightning blast but it ALSO opens up more possibilities like using Shattered lance set with Vessel of Strife or using Sunforged set with Void Cleave (although Forged weapons r still trash).

It is really good, I’m doing shattered lance but with a 2 handed spear with lots of flat cold damage.

It’s similar to the searing pride/tempest EQ build we spoke about a while back, but cold dot themed with the aftershock idols procced via tempest strike instead.

Oh snap finally a use for Morditas Reach?

Wouldn’t swipe make a better proccer tho? Spears can roll attack speed and Panther’s got that sweet 35% global more dmg and regen buff.

I currently use swipe on cooldown to proc bear’s roar for more DR, and have 100% uptime of the roar.

This currently gets me between 3 to 4 stacks of aspect of the panther for the global damage on regen.

I just got a 2lp Morditas and slammed t7 flat cold and hit t5 cold pen.

Here’s a link to the build should you want to take a look. https://www.lastepochtools.com/planner/oPb2MJ3Q

Looks pretty good(saw the Aberroth kill). Doom works for Aftershock damage so that could be another way to pump those dps numbers (tho seems pretty good already).

yeah, I do have 3lp siphon in my stash just waiting for the right slam, using havocs to get T7 regen and other desirable stats but, no luck this far.

Build is still a work in progress of course and I’ve opted to play CoF this season rather than MG so getting the exact items I need has been a bit tougher. No bad thing though as it’s prolonging my play time.

Tundra helm that has flat cold and regen could be good for dps but would require swapping body armour out, and the boots that add flat cold per point of Dex could be good too, but it’s all at the cost of EHP, and I like to be tanky so I’ll do more test as I get better/differen items.

[OP] Thank you for all your useful replies. Given me some things to think about. I want to try a build with one of them.

I’m using the Astral Blood chest, easily doubled my EHP and provides a bunch of ward regen.

I don’t see myself ever using Mask of Indifference or the Immortal Stone amulet.
