Any Plans Of Showing More Insight?

There are, and as you (imply?) arranging this kind of thing is one of the roles CM’s perform, though it still does take up time going through what to share with “management” (or whoever decides that kind of thing). Plus I’m sure it’s different in a small company.

This is something the devs have to decide. This way of engagement with the community can also be valuable for them. So when something like a regularly stream or vlog is established you can show new things an features in a preview and analyse the reactions before you release them. I don’t mean they should ask for approval for every feature. But they could see if the community likes or dislikes key features and why.

So now there is reddit, steam, this forum and discord as well as the ingame chat. Actually 5 different platforms where feedback comes in. Managing this must be a hell of a job. But EHG is responding on all of these to the often same and repeatedly asked questions and complaints.

By making a news blog they could reply to faqs and control the topics. For example when there’s an agenda that next Thursday they will give information about the state of multiplayer, minion ai and the tornado skilltree, there will surely be less questions about these topics on the forums.

And if there still are questions because people aren’t aware of the blog you will always have community members like us that answer “wait for the monthly vlog, it’s on the agenda” or linking the vlog to people who haven’t seen them.

I don’t say there is no work to be done. But it can pay off in the long run.

Yeah, I’m glad I’m not the one making that decision…

Yea, sucks to be that guy eh?

…ah crap.

Yes, yes it does. I have difficulty picking a parking space if there are too many available (it’s also probably one of the reasons why I’m happier being a financial accountant instead of a “business partner”).

I’ve seen other games in dev where devs just play the game and it shows up in the Steam streaming stuff (as well as twitch). There’s some cooking game that their devs play online a lot that I put in my wishlist as a ‘maybe one day I’ll buy this.’
May just be a good way to get some press. I’d watch devs playing the game…maybe more interested if they were bad at it hehe. I’d also not get upset if none of this occurred either.
