And indeed, the user’s response to a… normal question is exactly what we all expect by now. In fact, for Last Epoch, the only languages missing are Aramaic and Cuneiform. The thing that makes you think, in 2025, is that making a translation—JUST subtitles—is AI work that doesn’t take much time for the developers. No, the reasons are different… and Italians have every reason to believe they are being deliberately “skipped”… but the developers will come up with the usual excuses, the ones we’re used to hearing—not because they’re true, since some of the languages the game has been translated into haven’t brought any benefit… quite the opposite. And they know this well… but they can’t admit it.
It’s not so much a matter of “learn English,” which, let’s be honest, even dogs understand by now—it’s just a matter of consideration, which simply isn’t there.
So, dear developers, you can respond however you like, but I know it, just as you know it—MAKING A TRANSLATION, just subtitles, would be ridiculously easy FOR YOU. For those who don’t know… I GUARANTEE IT, because, coincidentally, I happen to know a thing or two about this. Some will say, “Do it yourself”… but why should I? Or rather, why should we? We paid for the game, just like we paid for all the other translations, some of which I’d be curious to see the internal data on the actual number of players using those languages… I think we’d all be left SPEECHLESS. The pattern is clear, crystal clear.
I see plenty of new updates coming, but little SUBSTANCE—and certainly NOT a simple translation that could make OTHER NEW PLAYERS happy.
Anyway, the next translation…? Martian?
