An Interesting Suggestion for Non-Necromancer Lich Minion Builds

Wouldn’t it be cool if there was a node in the Lich tree at the second half (so you need to be lich) that was just one point and said “Your passives from the Lich tree including your mastery bonus now applies to your minions instead of you.”

This way you can make a non-necromancer minion build that doesn’t need the right half of the necromancer tree or it’s mastery bonus and makes the player think about their lich tree in a completely different light. It would be like a whole new minion mastery was added, one that focused more on damaging your own minions or giving them health decay. This would exclude atributes and mana regen (they would still apply to you) but the downsides would apply to your minions.

Alternatively detriments could apply to you but the bonuses could apply to them. So they gain increased damage based on your own health. But I think it’s more interesting the other way around.

Based on balance bonuses can be applied at 80% as it would to you or 50% or what ever number is comfortable. It can also be half and half so you get half the benefits and they get the other half for a hybrid build. It can also be a 2 point node so 1 point does this and the second point gives minions the complete bonuses.

As for survivability nodes they can be shared so you’re not forced to seek survivability elsewhere. So both you and your minions can gain ward together for example or half of their dmg could health leech for you while the other half leeches for them or some other combination that is balanced.

In a complete fantasy scenario (because it takes so much work) your reaper form could have a node that makes it a minion instead (maybe even casts harvest as it’s baseline attack improved by your harvest tree).
