Always bring all surrounding loot when you port out

That new feature where death causes the loot around you to port out with you is really nice…

…except that you have to die!

It would be really nice if EVERY TIME you ported, whatever loot was on the ground around youu came with… that would still be a “constraint” in that it would only be on the loot around you on the ground when you “end” the instance by porting out…

Why, though? What would be the use of it? I would personally dislike it. If I’m porting out and there’s loot on the ground, it’s because I don’t want it. And I certainly don’t want it cluttering my “hideout” when I go pick up the echo rewards.

Loot following you when you die is a nice addition, because you don’t have the opportunity to pick it up before you die.
Wanting loot to follow you when you have the option to pick it up, is being lazy.

When CoF procs 6 (or 10!) prophecies on a boss, its not possible to pick up everything i want, not enough inventory slots.

I’ve resorted to making most of my cof prophecies be glyphs or runes for this reason.

It’s weird to me that we get a benefit when dying that i can’t get when alive

Yes, that is an issue. But I think it would be better to find an actual solution for it, rather than giving you an inconvenience for the rest of the 99% of the times you portal back.

Personally, I’d rather have prophecies be completed and turn the prophecy icon green in the prophecies window and you can collect it when you’re ready.
Or even turn them in in the observatory.

Turning in at the observatory would be a nightmare.

Dropping a prophecy completion token would work better.

It’s still weird that a feature that happens when i die is unavailable when i live.

Multiple Prophecies going off at the same time is indeed a problem. One solution could be a “Prophecy Chest” that contains the Prophecy items drops when a Prophecy is fulfilled.
