Any idea if there will be a catch up mechanic for ALTS when you complete the campain and ready to jump in the monolith, so we do not have to redo all the timelines again for each alt? For example, let’s say I unlocked empowered mono’s on my main, will there be a system that allows me to unlock all the regular timelines on my alt instead of having to redo all of them every time I level an alt?

There are lots of suggestions and request revolving around a level catchup mechanic or alternatives ways of leveling alts.
But your specific request is actually something I am not aware of people having asked that much.
The devs said they don’t want to implement any alternative ways of leveling or catch up systems at first, but maybe in the future, after 1.0.
Regarding your request I am not sure.
Monolith probably might not be the only endgame system, but we don’t have that much details about the other endgames system yet and how much they are linked to MoF.
I could see something similar to the newly introduced Corruption Catch-Up Mechanics with Timelinestability.
So you still need to re-do all timeliens in the order they are meant to be completed in, but maybe you gain additional Timelinestability, based on how far your highest char got on the normal timelines at least.
For the empwoered timelines everything should be as usual.
But having to do Monolith Timelines in a specific order kinda makes sense and I wouldn’t like to be able to randomly skip any.
Maybe in the future we also will get more Timelines, which might open up even more alternative paths you could take.
Thanks for the detailed reply. I leveled 6 different characters and I cleared the timelines on a couple of them and I am in the process of releveling an alt, so I was wondering if getting access to all timelines right away (non-empowered version) on alts would be beneficial. But for now, I do not mind, you still level through the monoliths!
Account wide mono progression actually make sense to me. Otherwise mono just feels like an extended campaign.
So far, for me, it’s looking like alts will be a slog without catch-up mechanics.
Get a nice unique or exalted that makes for an awesome alternate? Now, go through the campaign on your new character. Now, grind through 80-100 maps with this alt character who is probably OP relative to normal mono before reaching the empowered corruption mechanic where you can scale the difficulty more quickly. to your liking. I’ve gone through this in a micro sense a few times since testing out 0.82 and 0.83 and it is the most boring part that makes me say “meh… why bother?”
For me, I like advancing the campaign story and the sense of power progression in the core campaign on alts so far. Getting to the grind at early mono feels shallow: high quantity, low impact and low difficulty.
I’m guessing some people will feel the same about the campaign and have already indicated as much, but I could see going through the campaign as a necessary tradeoff to make characters impactful. Campaign PLUS shallow early mono? Won’t be keeping my attention on multiple alts over the course of any type of cycle.
