Allow pet aggression mode

In Grim Dawn you can right click on pet icon and choose defensive, neutral or aggressive. It will be nice if the same system is implemented in LE. There are pets such as spriggan and storm crow that in many builds, I use them defensively, simply to provide buffs and healings, so I want it to stay closer to me and not dying. In LE, I think instead of 3 modes, make it 2 only: defensive and offensive.

What do you think?

I’d like this for all pets/minions/summons etc…

Also, instead of having to press the A key all the time (the clunkiest way of doing it in my opinion), I would also like a very simple option… ā€œAttack what I attackā€ā€¦ Seems like a logical request to me…

I’d settle for being able to bind minion move/attack to a mouse button

You can do that though. I bind minion attack to my middle mouse for example.

It may be cool, but first minion AI in this game needs to be made much better just as a baseline.

Minions seem to not attack enemies and have trouble keeping up with me, even worse when they DO attack, they all target the same enemy instead of fanning out to deal with multiple enemies and clear the swarm faster.

Their movespeed is garbage too(if I have even low tier boots they cannot keep up easily), and when I get ahead of them they take forever to catch up because they have not been programmed to teleport back to you like how every other game in the genre does.

I would also say that they should be trying to follow AROUND me instead of following AFTER me(which is what they do here), as the latter forces me to walk backwards every time I engage the enemy.

Yes, the minion teleport part is lacking. D2 implemented it 20 years ago, not sure why LE doesn’t implement it in 2021.

I think that depends on the minion, my wolves are speedy little ####ers while I would expect the undead to be particularly quick.
