Would be great to be able to change the character name, specially in offline SP. Also, if we could use space would be great. Something like “Fire Devil” or whatever.
And also hope we truly get a full offline game, no need to log in.

its the login part you mentioned - I doubt that they are going to go that far… Kain said on Discord in the last 24h that they are still planning an offline mode but login will still be needed… Maybe they can consider cached credentials but I doubt very much that they can simply remove login entirely… Imho, the game would be pirated instantly if they didnt keep some sort of permission component…
They could at least do something like d2r, which allows you to be offline for 30 days before asking a login again. Not ideal but better than what we have now.
Thats what I meant by cached credentials… and yes, its the logical “compromise” to the issue but the devs need to see if they are willing/able to implement it like that.
Yeah, that’s the big question. If they are willing to do it. Also really hope they allow name changing and the ability to use space on naming, at least for offline. There’s no problem since we’re not playing with anyone.
The name issue has come up a few times… They even implemented some name checking (for inappropriate words) a while ago but it didnt work very well based on the dictionary they used, even in the offline version. Not sure what their latest decisions are on this tho - cannot recall when last they officially mentioned it… probably pretty low on their to-do list right now.
