I just started the game for the first time after the 1.0 update expecting to be able to continue playing my characters in offline mode. But almost all of my progress got wiped, characters and stash tabs including their content. Only a single level 28 character and two almost empty stash tabs survived. This is probably less than 1% of progress I made over the last couple of years. I had like ~50 characters stored in an “archive” (separate folder) which is gone in its entirety. And I had over 50 stash tabs filled with quite rare items, gone as well.
Not as tragic but noteworthy, all my custom loot filters got wiped, too.
This is beyond frustrating and makes me doubt that the offline mode for 1.0 has been even remotely tested.
