After handle change ladder isn't updating on old characters

I switched my user handle a month or so back and just recently revisited an old character and went through the arena doing better than the last time. It doesnt look like the arena is updating him under my new handle or even under the old one as it still shows him at level 88 arena 182. This current run i ended at level 91 wave 217.
