e.g. if I’m looking at a Critical Strike Avoidance shard, it should say “of Sanctuary” somewhere in the item info pane. Currently there’s no way to tell by looking at a shard what item names could be shattered to find more of the same; you have to go to an external database if you don’t have a source item to reference.

Is this just so you don’t have to hover over the items to see what affixes they have?
The other way around- if I have a shard already but don’t know what to look for to get more of them.
