Ok, i used the search function and found a couple of topics on mana potions. But those suggestions where more on the flat out “ädd mana potions!” side.
I see how making mana a kind of difficult to manage resource on some builds is a good thing.
BUT
There are a lot of builds that don’t even use mana or at least to no meaningful amount. There are a lot of skill or passive effects that make mana-management trivial.
I would like to see more of a tradeoff option, to allow small bursts of mana to enable single crucial spell casts.
Something like an affix that allows regular potions to give a small amount of mana. Like up to 25. Nothing that allows you to just keep spamming you offensive high mana cost spell’s, and nothing that entirely makes up for you going like -80.
Just when you realize, dam i need that traversal skill / flameward / rebuke or whatever in 2 sec but mana will only be back up in 4sec where you could sacrifice your potion (and the reaction time) to get you out of a hassle.
But keep in mind that you also had to prepare and sacrifice some affix slots to do so, so it’s not just a free thing. It’s another option to integrate into your build which high skill players usually wont find worth it.
