Hi, i browsed several historic topics about it but didnt find anything recent. I’m not sure if it worked different previous seasons but its inconsistent in the loot filter. When we select item type and dont select subtype (None) it will consider all subtypes, but it doesnt work the same for affixes. Cant simply select affix condition, dont select any specific, go with tier 7+ and done, would highlight all items with t7+ affixes, no. We must select all few hundreds affixes to make it work.
Yeah this is kind of weird that its not a thing.
Though I usually make a rule with all affixes ticked off, and then duplicate it a bunch of times. Then all my exalted rules can be customised and made with the default of them all ticked off. Hopefully that might make it marginally less tedious for you when making filters
This is fine, except when they add new affixes, in which case you’ll have to go through all your filters and also add the new affixes.
This should be a simple change and allow better filter customization.
yeah very true, though I dont find it too bad since its months between seasons. Regardless, it should exist and shouldnt need to be “worked around” like im doing lol
Could be also made easy by adding check all button. Also another usefull thing to add would be to add affix count in forge for more easily managing shatter rules but that is another topic.
That wouldn’t help with new affixes each season. We’d still need to go through all the filters and add the new affixes to each. A button will help minimize it a little, but the biggest issue is having to edit 30 filters or more, one by one, to add the new affixes to some of the “universal” rules.
I would actually rather have a new rule type with affix shard count. It’s actually what I thought the affix count was and I got really excited about it. Then I saw what it actually was and I went “Oh”
I just want to set a rule to show me all items with affixes where I have less than 50 shards.
