Aerial Assault doesnt work properly on Gamepad and WASD (Literally unplayable)

  • Class: Falconer Rogue
  • Input Method: Gamepad and WASD
  • Skill: Aerial Assault
  • Mastery: Storm on the Horizon

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Try to aim Aerial assault with gamepad or aim with mouse on WASD controls.
  2. Activate Aerial Assault (with Storm on the Horizon).
  3. Immediately press any Gamepad movements or WASD key to move before the falcon’s attack animation completes.

Expected Behavior

  • The falcon should travel to—and deal AOE damage at—the location of your mouse cursor (i.e., the targeted enemy), regardless of your movement during the animation. Basically it should work just as Dive Bomb (another Falcon skill)

Actual Behavior

  • If you move via Gamepad or WASD before the animation ends, the falcon “jumps” to your new position and lands behind you, completely missing the intended target area.

The issue also persists with M+KB not using WASD. If you move your mouse anywhere during the animation the Falcon veers off to an unintended location.

Came here to report this behaviour as well. Getting later into the end game, this bug makes consistency impossible. There is just so much stuff to dodge your falcon is probably landing behind you 75% of the time. Tried even on mouse only movement and this bug still occurs. Please fix soon this is my favourite build. :frowning:

I can also confirm that it doesn’t even matter what input mode you use. Even with only mouse movement, the location is NOT where your cursor is at the moment when you activate the skill, but where it is after some delay. Presumably destination is actually selected after the skills charge delay of ~0.5 seconds.
