Kinda new to end level. I’ve always stopped playing before getting corruption.
I’m now at 200+ corruption, and my question is that I followed a build guide from maxroll.
Do I continue to look for better versions of the uniques/Legendary/Weavers?
Should I look for yellows that will benefit me?
I’m unsure on what my road forward looks like in terms of gearing.

As in every hack and slash game… get better numbers . The better your loot and the higher LP uniques you have the faster you can get more corruption and keep doing the same again and again and again and again to get even higher numbers .

Purples with the desired affixes on the desired bases, but yes. And once you’ve got the most desired t7 affixes you then want to look for a replacement with more exalted affixes on it.
The build guides usually have 3 sections like levelling, endgame and optimal or whatever it’s called (been a while) and you can shop for ideas from those least give you an idea of what you wanna chase - good work on first time over 200 btw! There are usually variations of every build on max, on YT and stuff so have a browse around might find something that suits your play style more as you come to grips with the synergies between items/skills and why some things are used in some builds - god I hope that makes sense? I used heaps of actionrgps builds when I was new as he uses slightly easier items to obtain and explains skill pathing.
Go for exalted items like Llama said most of the time yellows will just be used to destroy for shards~ and dont forget here - https://www.lastepochtools.com/db/ to check all the items and find where they drop/who to farm etc
