EDIT FOR CLARITY: I am referring to the active leech per second info i.e. how much leech I am actively getting as health at any given moment.

Very simple suggestion:
When you mouseover your health circle in the UI, it includes Health Regen, Ward and Endurance… How about adding Health Leech to this too?
Total Leech on hit / Leech effectiveness
Could be trickey to implement, but if it could include the active skills (i.e. buffs) and then use the right mouse skill assignment for on hit leech calc?
I know that total damage leeched as health percentages are on the Defense Stats screen on the character sheet, but seems logical to have a combined effect summary on the health tooltip.
I disagree, any leech % you give on the health tooltip will be missing any leech from skill nodes themselves so it’ll be incorrect. Plus you’d need to have separate lines for melee leech, spell leech, throwing leech, bow leech & generic leech.
Right now there isnt anywhere to see active Leech info… My concern with the character sheet location is that it isnt showing active leech… i.e. if I whack a bunch of mobs, I cannot see what my total leech health per second is.
Well that’s something totally differnt, but on the tooltip where you see endurance and endurance threshold, you need to mouse over this, so this wouldn’t be usefull mid-combat.
And i think even if you would see this somewhere near the health globe, the info would not be super usefull, since every layer of leech has an individual timer so the leech/sec would change and fluctuate every second.
Yip… Thats effectively why I suggested it… Its very difficult (if not impossible) for us carbon based lifeforms to work this out on the fly when we are doing 5 hits a second on 5 mobs… But the game has to calculate this already to return the health correctly to the player… So I am just trying to find out how to “see” this figure thats already calculated somewhere.
To be honest, I’d be just as happy if this was included in the Damage Log that was discussed a few months ago - it doesnt have to be realtime… Just want the data…
It would but there are a number of effects that give you a temporary increase to your health regen which would change that on a second by second basis.
Having info like this in some “combat log” or maybe we will get a more detailed death recap at some point?
That’s a great idea for sure.
Yeah i think it would be reasonable to display that number, but i think it should be optional, because numbers that fluctuate so much can be irritating for some people i think.
If an option for “current hp regen and/or leech” gets added, just make it a toggleable option somewhere in the game options.
