I love the loot filter for what it can do but there’s been a couple things I’ve wanted to be able to filter for and I can’t as they aren’t options.
I would like to be able to filter for items with large forging forging potential mainly so I can craft stuff for alts. A niche use but one I would like to use it for.
The other being able to filter for items with a sealed affix. I’ve only encountered one so far from a rare chest which had good stats and 0 forging potential but man that sealed affix was nice.
So ya, if we’re going to get drops like that it would be nice to be able to filter for them when they drop.
Filters won’t have FP or LP checks in them. Devs don’t want filters to eventually become the same as in PoE where you are able to filter out everything and what shows you pick up. They want you to to filter MOST of the stuff, but still have to check drops to see if you really want to pick them up.
Items don’t drop with sealed affixes. You must be confusing with personal affixes, which are in specific places during the campaign (chests marked with an exclamation mark in the map).
I have also gotten an item with a sealed affix naturally and had 0 Forging Potential. It could just be a bug, but it happens. (Solo CF, 1.0 League, before joining a faction)
I was going to make a post for this… I had an item with over 50 forging potential. It was hot garbage… but I used a combo of chaos and removal runes to turn it into a killer upgrade. I’d love to have Forging Potential added to the filter options.
