Hi, could you please add an option to enable 2FA for accounts on your website? I don’t believe it needs any elaboration, it’s simply a must have for security reasons.

I think this has been requested before.
It has, but that topic was locked due to inactivity. I wasn’t sure if a topic gets more attention if people like it enough. Also its title wasn’t too obvious, so people who are looking for this feature request may easily have missed it.

I agree. Add it to the standalone client to for us that haven’t linked the account to Steam.
Um, so excuse my ignorance, but what is 2FA? I’m asking purely out of curiosity, because I feel clueless.
Two Factor Authentication (2FA) is an extra layer of protection used to ensure the security of online accounts beyond just a username and password.
An example would be to have a coded text sent to your phone that you would also have to provide, in addition to your username/password, before getting access.

Oooh, roger that, yes, it would probably be a very good idea. I got the game through Steam, so I have that, but yea if you’re not using steam then 2FA would definitely be important. Carry on!
