The passive text says “When damage leaves you below half health”, except it procs whenever your health drops below 50% for whatever reason (Exsanguinous/Last Steps, Acolyte hp drain passives, Death Seal with the Deadlock node, etc).
Mike said that this is how it is supposed to work therefore the text could/should be changed to reflect this “When you drop below half health…” or something similar.
