Acolyte needs more Helmet Implicits

So, Acolyte is severly lacking endgame options for Helmet Implicits. Most other classes have multiple ones with decently high armour and secondary implicit (equivalent to ~T5 explicit affix)

Just to recap, these are the currently 4 highest options for Acolyte:

Heretic Cage
Helmet
+127 Armor
Requires Level: 46
Requires Class: Acolyte

Ivory Mask
Helmet
+73 Armor
(30-60)% increased Minion Damage
Requires Level: 61
Requires Class: Acolyte

Profane Mask
Helmet
+89 Armor
(30-60)% increased Spell Damage
Requires Level: 64
Requires Class: Acolyte

Burial Mask
Helmet
+103 Armor
+(10-15) Minion Adaptive Spell Damage
Requires Level: 70
Requires Class: Acolyte

From these 2, only the Profane Mask and Burial Mask truely have ā€œendgame statsā€.
But if you play a non spell or non-spell-minion build, the only other things you have are a medicore higher armour base or generic %inc minion dmg, which is ok-ish but really not astounding.

IMO Acolyte at least needs:

  • One strong defensive helmet (Maybe HP or Endurance/Endurance Threshold?)
  • One non-minion and non-spell offensive helmet (Melee and/or damage types specific like Necrotic/Physical)

What do you guys think?

Do you agree? What other implicits would you like to see?

There’s only 1 skill that isn’t minion or spell, but I agree, it’d be good to see some alternative defenses, maybe endurance, ward retention, or something shared (shared damage).

But you also have no support for Ailment Builds (except Damned, sicne that somewhat scales with Spell Damage), it’s not only that I want melee support specifically.

And yeah I would be happy about a couple of differen defensive alternatives.

Because the ā€œbestā€ defensive helmet ā€œonlyā€ has like 50 more armour then the rest >.>

Agreed, I’ve often felt I was always wearing the same things, due to lack of what I needed.
