No Hungering Souls are spawned during the fight with Logan using the Death Seal skill with the Devouring Release node applied. The Hungering Souls begin to spawn normally during the “phased” arena battle of the fight with Logan; but stop again once the Acolyte is sent back to the top of the arena to fight just Logan.
This bug seems to be prevalent during both the story (quest) version of the fight and monolith boss fight.
Does that node fire Hungering Souls even if there are no mobs in range? Auto-targeted skills tend to target the base of a mob and Lagon’s is a long way below the ledge.
I believe you are correct in that he is a long way below the edge and that could be a problem. From my experience with the skill node it works on all other boss fights. All of the other bosses I have come across in the game are in the same “playing field” as the player and will be targeted if they are the closest to them.
