The Myopia node is supposed to give abyssal decay the ability to blind but it doesn’t work unless you also get the Rippling Corrosion node.
In my testing, I did not get Potent Corruption, so I did not disable Abyssal Decay.
Edit - I tested on the dummies and looked for the Blind debuff

At the start, I test on an actual enemy. Then 45 seconds in, I test on the dummy for more detail.
Some of the nodes like Rippling Corrosion or Crippling Waves mention an “initial burst”. If you have those nodes, then the blind does work.
Blind should work regardless if you have those nodes.
