94 levels and around 700 corruption later, I still have not seen a single copy of my imprinted world drop pool unique. I’ve had a full weaver tree specced into it as well. I made this character around same time the changes came in. You made imprinting way too strict now. It should not be too generous, but at the same time imprinting should flow nicely with the pace you minmax your build. Otherwise what’s the point of it, if you still cannot make those items drop more… Which is the point of whole system? I have a Red Ring in 3 imprinting slots, but now my Void Knight is level 94, and I’ve done in total around 700 corruption across timelines without using the catch-up mechanic. Makes the whole system just pointless now. Imprinting clearly needs to be tuned more still. This just does not work like this. At this pace I could get that item faster via other means, than imprinting itself.
If you want to have this system in game, it really has to fit the pace of making your build. Pace of imprinting an item, and the pace of making your build being around the same, is kind of important for it to work. Having the imprinting pool way too generally big, while having this low chances… Yeah good luck getting for example a Red Ring any sooner than next year. Ridiculous, I hope future hotfixes do something about this. Now the system is very bad for jewelry.
My Ring is also legendary with one affix on it, which makes it nearly impossible to drop it ALREADY… OR at least add some sort of explanation in game how the imprinting works. It’s just there, but nothing explains the rules behind it. What does it take into account? Can legendary items or LP items be imprinted? How about exalted items? How it makes those items drop more? There’s no proper explanation anywhere in the game for it.
