So I’ve long had an issue (as I think many have) with aRPGs Melee based implementation and to a more specific instance LE’s. I’m running a Forge Guard this cycle and I didn’t touch it last cycle despite it being one of my favorites. With the changes they’ve made it’s given FG some long needed specific tankiness. I can take a lot of first hits, and even the first few seconds of many DoTs at 250 corruption and easily survive. If this were 1.0 and prior it would still end up getting me killed.
Why?
I wasn’t fully able to put my finger on why prior to 1.1. And, for the record, I was actually skeptical about Evade.
But let me tell you something. I am now surviving stuff, that even if I was massively tanky, I could never have survived prior to 1.1 because with Evade, I can do slight shifting with out having to actually disengage. It allows me quick, solid real melee style repositioning. I am 100% stoked about how I’m playing now. It’s more fun I’ve had playing a full on, face your enemy and beat them head on, then I’ve had in a very, very long time.
Absolutely thrilled with how Evade has changed, for the better, this style of game play.

I agree that evade is great, and by definition moving out of damage isn’t really facetanking in the traditional sense.
I also love FG and had issues with it in 1.0

I think you took your own opinion, at best with your biased interpretation of what a very small fraction of other Last Epoch players have said, and are trying to claim you speak for a lot of people in order to try to give more weight to your words.
The end result is the opposite - if you begin your post with such a blatant falsehood, how can we take it seriously?
Because it’s simply wrong for you to imply and accuse the whole asian community of being the cause of the exploit and/or abusing it instead of reporting it to the devs. And that’s what the post I quoted before is doing.
It would be even worse, far more offensive if that person was an actual, legitimate and official representative of some nation or community… And since we all know he most probably is not, why even bother saying stuff like this anyways?
Not saying you’re xenophobic, rather what you wrote is. Little more care towards foreigners never hurts.
