Abomination continues to randomly despawn when casting devour/sacrifice

Despite patch 1.3.0.3 claiming to have fixed the abom despawn bug, it continues to persist. The only constant I have found with this bug is that it happens when it tries to cast devour/sacrifice. Sometimes it will go several monos without despawning, and other times I have to resummon it 5 times in a row because it despawns with nothing nearby. Please look into this bug again.

Edit: And before any asks: No, I do not have elixir of hunger activated.

What minions are you trying to devour/sacrifice?
Is it possible one of the minions or sacrifice has a chance to cast another sacrifice when they die? Such that the triggered sacrifice kills your abomination?

I’m sacrificing skeletons that resummon themselves. As far as I know, I do not have anything that should cause the abom to be sacrificed. I do not have chain sacrifice, and only the abom should be casting sacrifices on the skeleton warriors.

Just a wild guess, perhaps your abomination is just dying? Why do you have everlasting poison for your dread shade? I’m suspecting they just stack up too much, and at some point if there are no enemies for your abomination to leech off of, it just dies from the everlasting poison. I would try unallocating everlasting poison, and instead taking lone watcher, see if that’s what caused the problem. Also your aura of decay is also applying poison to your minions, so it adds up probably.

I guarantee you that my abom is not dying naturally. Even with the poison reaching 1000+ stacks it doesn’t make a dent in its health bar. Abom is constantly healing from devour and the effigies passive notable. I used lone watcher before and the abom still randomly despawned. I promise you that this is a bug, not user error.

huh this is super weird, the way it despawned is as if you switched zones / ported out
Is it possible maybe there’s too many entities on the map? maybe the game can only handle/load so many entities, so it just naturally despawns the oldest minion of yours?
But definitely looks like a bug to me
