While looking over the ladder and seeing the other players run around in game, I’m finding no way currently to view another players build, and I’d like to. On the ladder page you can see a set of the skills other players use but beyond that there seems to be no way to see anything else another player has from passives to gear.
I found an old topic where a person replied not liking the idea as it somehow would lead to meta build creation but I think that’s a silly notion. The idea that a person can already search builds on the internet removes that idea from the equation. Most people who cannot or do not want to create their own build will just find one on a site somewhere and BAM…meta appears. I’d like to see what the people on the ladder use beyond just the skill. I’m always wanting to improve my builds and play and seeing how other people do theirs helps me get better or shows me something I might not have considered before.
I’m not a competitive player by any means but not being able to see any other players builds takes a bit of the fun out of the game for me. It’s fun seeing how other people play the game, people that are not full time streamers.
I’m not sure how this will go over or if its already in the works somehow but I believe this would have some value in the game with players other than just me.

I still remember the olden days before inspecting was a widespread game feature, and most of the time it was just created bad experiences. And I don’t just mean encouraging the people who were pompous dicks, acting like their build was some genius secret recipe that nobody else should get to see. It was also bad for people who wanted to share and help too, because it makes it a lot less convenient to actually do that.
