Ability to save builds and quick swap

If no like how game do, play game not.

This is already possible. I am not asking for something that is not currently do-able in the game. I can full respec when I get enough corruption, go run through an island quickly on a lower corruption area to level my skills and then go back and kill the boss. It is just tedious.

Adding this does not create a new gameplay option; it simply makes it easier because you know who is going to do that? The sweats. Your precious hardcores because that is what they enjoy. I am trying to get the ability to play around with builds and you are making a Strawman of competitive Corruption grinding

The issue is it lets you swap on the fly in dungeons and arena, this idea of build saving. That’s where the problem comes in.

BUt also. You could reroll before a monolith boss, but it’ll take you enough tiem to be annoying to relevel your skills. Which is the idea. It doesn’t stop you, but it stops enough people from doing it to be effective for what the devs wanted.

You missed the point. One charecter is for pushing the other for speed farming. These are not the same activity and the bar is far lower for one than the other.

The most effective speedfarming for MG is not done at the highest corruption a charecter can run, but at what is 70-80 of their total capacity because speed eventually outweights droprate. There is literally no functional diffrence in what you just agreed is okay and what I am proposing in the scenario you described

If you look at the streamers (the “sweats”), none of them are doing this.

You could have a loadout system as long as you maintained the current restrictions, i.e., you have to go to town, you still have to pay gold and you still have to relevel your skills. This is something most are ok with.

Intant swapping like in D3, though, isn’t that. You’ve seen many players that have already said they will leave if this happens. And there are players that will leave if it won’t. So no matter what choice EHG makes they will lose players because you can’t reconcile both sides. And, at least for now, EHG wants the type of player that doesn’t like instant respec. It’s their choice.

Larval tears? I have like a 100 of them…

That is not an instant respec, though. You still have to assign everything up again.
Not to mention that Elden Ring is aimed at more casual players as well (well, within the FS realm anyway) and most DS players stopped playing it soon after.

All u want is diabli 3. Build swappinh on the fly. What u pointed ouy is literally in the game to stop this.

Load outs will change the meta of the game.

I want to play LE i dont want a re-skinned d3 there d4 for that

Everything in the game is balanced around not being able to instantly swap between a clear build and a boss killing build, dummy. Every monster, every boss encounter, every map, every stat, every number. It can’t not be. Every single tuning pass they’ve ever done was done in an environment where a build has to either try to be balanced or suck it up for the content it’s not good at.

If you can instantly swap from an extremely mobile clear build with bad single target damage to a build that has extremely high single target damage at the expense of clear and mobility, all of that tuning has become irrelevant. Everything has to be rebalanced so that you can’t trivialize it by lazily clicking a button. Monster health and damage has to go up across the board. Drop rates and other rewards have to be toned down because of how much easier it is to farm things. And everybody who isn’t using the annoying-but-optimal strategy of constant task specific build swapping gets screwed because the game doesn’t target their level for balance anymore, it targets the Sweatlords of Swappington because it has to or they break the game.

This is painfully obvious if you think about it for even a moment. The only reason it has to be said out loud is because you’re too busy stamping your feet about this thing you want to think or care about anyone else’s experience in the game.

So no, “jUsT dOn’T dO iT” doesn’t apply to changes that require the entire game be rebalanced. It affects every player whether they use it or not. What aren’t you getting?

If you want to play Diablo 3, you already have Diablo 3. Go play that and get off it already.
